Bombed Yarns started out as a bit of fun dyeing yarn and knitting with the dyed creations.

Eventually, more yarn was dyed than *really* needed so an ETSY shop was opened.

Seven years on, it has evolved into a working studio based in North Hobart, its own website and multiple social media accounts!

Sarah mainly dyes with professional acid dyes but also enjoys exploring botanical dyeing. The super-wash Merino is treated at a mill with high environmental standards. There are mixes of special fibres and limited collections of unique non super-wash yarns eg. Shetland Wool.

Bombed Yarns is also about our community. Everyone is welcome to visit, ask questions or join a class/workshop. There are monthly community get togethers, guest teachers from around the world and classes/workshops to support you to learn more about your craft.
