Surrounded by family who participated in varying fibre and textile arts, their influence and teachings have provided the foundation for the passion Caitlin has today as the owner of Handmade by Catkin.

Caitlin’s creations come with a sustainability mindset. All fibres are sourced with care to ensure that the items used are ethical and sustainable both in their development and in the final product.

Caitlin is a firm believer that tools should be fun as well as functional; otherwise, why would the word ‘fun’ be in FUNctional to begin with?!
