Fibre Crafts

Yarn, project bags, indie dyed yarn notions, accessories

Three Trees Fibre Crafts was born the first year of Covid when Rhonda began dyeing yarn for herself and her two daughters who lived in locked down Melbourne. Coming from a creative background of arts including painting, pottery, sculpting, music and sewing; knitting and dyeing yarn was another avenue to explore the world around her.

Growing up in the shadow of Mount Warning in North NSW, explorative forays into the bushland of Australia formed her childhood. Drawn to earthy, often saturated palettes and the surprising blends of colour found in nature, Rhonda explores themes of the Australian landscape and nature, exploring ways to interpret these themes on variegated, tonal and speckled yarns. She is joined by her husband Barry, her right hand and chief supporter who looks after the technical side of things and skeins all the yarn.

They are passionate about using as much Australian grown and sourced yarn as possible in their small home based business on the Central Coast of NSW.
