Wyndara Black Sheep is based in South Western Victoria and breed coloured Polwarth sheep for their beautiful wool which is ideal for craft uses.

Their farm is certified by RWS for our sustainable and ethical farming practices including being non-mulesed.

Their sheep produce fleeces of varying colours and patterns with microns ranging from 18 to 25 and long staple lengths. Most of Wyndara’s sheep have names and get special treatment while also appearing a lot on their social media.

Last year, Wyndara had their first two bales of wool processed entirely within a couple hours drive of the farm and so are able to offer naturally coloured tops and yarns to fibre artists.

The Australian Yarn Show will be Wyndara Black Sheep’s first market north of the Victorian border with 2024 being their first year of markets right across Victoria including Bendigo and interstate to Adelaide.
